Tanner City Skate park was built over two decades ago - and its really starting to show its age. Our primary purpose is to re-build a SAFE skate park for our community to enjoy without need for concern. The skate park shows extreme signs of wear and tear due to improper construction, lack of maintenance and environmental factors. There are countless cracks ,gouges,  and holes in the concrete which are essentially like potholes to the wheels used on scooters , skateboards etc. This is an accident waiting to happen..The rails and ledges in the skate park are the biggest hazard as they have been pushed out of the ground due to years of neglect.

We as a community need to provide a new SAFE park for our youth to enjoy positive activities during a time they need it most. Our mission is to rebuild the sections of the park that are damaged and to also add lights to ensure safety for all that enter after dark. We also ask that the city add a trash barrel to help keep the park as clean as possible.
