As you cannot change history and as people need monuments and statues to remind them of their history and as monuments and statues should be used to teach younger generations and as people have a right to their history and monuments to their ancestors and their past regardless of others don't agree and as feelings do not trump history and knowledge

We the undersigned to request that our elected leaders listen to all the people and make a decision to leave our historical monuments alone.
