We, the undersigned, believe that the reliability of the Metropolitan Line is not good enough. Residents of Hillingdon and Harrow have faced years of a substandard service and deserve better.

We call on the Mayor, Sadiq Khan, in his role as Chairman of Transport for London, to ensure that there are genuine improvements to the Metropolitan Line so that the service is reliable and operates to schedule at least 98.5% of the time.

In the event that this criterion is not met across the period covering December 2019, January 2020 and February 2020 then we call on the Mayor to attend a public meeting in either Harrow or Hillingdon to enable him to explain to local residents why the service has been unacceptable and what measures will be taken to improve it.
