Camden Green Party is calling for the cycle-hire scheme to be extended from Camden Town up through Kentish Town to Hampstead Heath, with docking stations at the bottom of Swain’s Lane, and the Lido.
We believe this should happen because residents deserve to have access to the scheme, which saves money, is healthier and fun and has the added benefit of reducing traffic congestion which is badly needed, especially in Kentish Town. And Londoners who already use the scheme should be able to dock their bikes next to the Heath, one of London’s most beautiful and popular parks. NW5 has so much to offer, it needs to be on the cycle-hire map. London’s cycle-hire zone should be at least the size of Paris, and include London’s best areas.
Please add your voice of support to the campaign and share with your friends, together we can make change happen!
I support the call for the cycle-hire scheme to be extended from Camden to Hampstead Heath and the Parliament Hill Lido. You have said: "Every Londoner should be able to take advantage of our hugely popular and iconic Barclays Cycle Hire scheme which has already brought untold benefits to London's commuters, businesses and visitors alike."
Please take action and put NW5 on the cycle-hire map.
