In the last days, the mayor of Kirkuk Rakan al-Jabouri has started to evicting Kurdish families in their houses in the Kirkuk particularly in Palkana village. 

After their evictions, their houses either being destroyed or given to other Arab families.

The mayor plan is to ensure that Kirkuk is free of Kurdish inhabitants. Evicted Kurdish families are being told that Kirkuk is not for them, they should be left.

This ethnic cleansing of Kirkuk should stop and allow evicted families to go back in peace in their houses and lands where they lived for generations.

Kirkuk is a land of various communities including the kurdish people. They have been living in harmony for generations. This ethnic cleansing actions could destroy good community relations that have survived challenges in the past.
