Allow Beach Volleyball be played again in Belmar NJ

Since organized non contact sports are back and allowed in New Jersey by governor Murphy, in an effort to improve both our physical and mental health, we urge you to allow recreational Beach Volleyball to be played again in Belmar beach. It is more important now than ever before to focus on Belmar residents’ well being. We have been playing in Belmar for over 15 years, many of the players are Belmar residents and already invested a lot of money as we always do every year and bought season passes and paid for lockers which both of those investments are waste at current point as the only reason we paid for it is that we played Volleyball in Belmar for years and were expecting to do the same this season. And just come and sit on the beach chair is not an option for us. And at this point not allowing us to play in Belmar is to force us out of our home beach and drive far from our homes to other beaches that allow Beach Volleyball. Many other beaches in New Jersey already allow Volleyball to be played again. Some (like Sea Bright)  even have permanent nets installed back on the beach and volleyball leagues starting this week: We are asking you to please reconsider your ban on Beach Volleyball in Belmar and please don't force your residents that love to play Beach Volleyball out of our Home Beach of Belmar. So we urge you to allow recreational beach volleyball playing  back to Belmar Beach effective immediately
