My name is Daniel Dailey, I own a restaurant on Cheshire Bridge Road. I purchased this 43 year old Johnny’s Pizza franchise in January 2021 after an already hard 2020 with Covid closures and restrictions.

Cheshire Bridge Road is home to many restaurants, salons, antiques stores and many other businesses. 
The detour around the Cheshire Bridge has had a dramatic impact on street traffic and foot traffic. In the first three weeks I saw a 30% decline in Total sales and a 50% decline in dine-in sales. I know I’m not alone. 

I am launching this petition to bring awareness to our neighbors, so we can band together and demand action. We have been told it will take 12-18 months to rebuild the bridge. Many businesses will not survive if repairing/rebuilding this bridge is not a priority. 

I demand action, please help me and many other businesses affected by this road closure/detour.
