Stray dogs has been experiencing human abuse which can be seen and proven by social media. Some of them were left by their owners, others grew up in the streets. Many of them suffer from dehydration, malnutrition, disease, injury, parasites, and  barbaric death. Many people use brutal ways and inhumane methods in killing them because they think that this is the solution to the problem. In this petition, I want to raise awareness to help not only the dogs but us humans as well.

• The stray dogs can be faced with different kinds of environmental hazards. (Fleas, Ticks, Mosquitoes)
• Stray dogs can have different kinds of illnesses if they stay outside.
• Humans can have conflict with them. (Car accident, dog bites, cause of illnesses)
• Slaughtering stray dogs. (Animal Cruelty)

MERITS:

• These dogs will be taken care of in a Dog Pound and after some time, they can be adopted.
• Lesser waste of stray dogs that can be seen in the streets.
• Less accidents for both dogs and humans.

PHILOSOPHICAL VIEW:

The philosophical movement that inspired and influence this action is the "Environmental Justice" because both dogs and humans get fair distribution of benefits in this petition. Here, dogs can have their shelter and they will be taken care of. At the same time, we can also prevent different kinds of accidents that occur between humans and dogs. Rest assured that dogs can be vaccinated and will be healthy until they perish. In this petition, we involve different kind of Government Stakeholders to help us push through this project.

SOLUTIONS:

• All stray dogs in Caloocan City will be captured and will be taken care of in a Dog Compound.
• They will be neutered to avoid overpopulation of stray dogs.
• Some of them will be open for adoption so that the dogs can have a better life wherein they don't need to survive by themselves.

Some countries have people who kill stray dogs because they think that this is the solution to the overpopulation, but in reality, it is not. Dogs are like humans also. They have their own life so we have no right to take their life just because we think that it is the right thing to do. We have to treat not only dogs, but also all animals like humans because we are all living here in this Earth and we should learn to love one another. By taking care of these dogs, we can lessen the consequences or problems that this city is facing.
