Haultain Park, next to the public Tennis Courts at 225 13 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2R 1N8

This park is underutilized by patrons, next to a children's park and kiddie corner to Central Memorial Park. There are plenty of green spaces and we hope to share this one with our dogs. There are many dog owners in the surrounding residential towers who require (now and as winter approaches) a safe place for dogs to run around and burn off energy. There has been increased activity from bylaw officers ticketing off-leash dogs, when their real focus should be on the issues around alcohol and drug abuse in the area. We find squatting, needle use, and other issues more concerning for this park. The next closest off-leash area is a 15-20 minute walk away.

We are asking that at least SOME of this area is dedicated to off-leash play for our pooches.
