Thanks to everyone that helped us raise money last week for our poll, with the purchase of a t-shirt. T-shirts will be shipped soon. The poll showed that an overwhelming majority of St Augustine residents wish to keep the Conederate Memorials, oppose the protests of Rawls, would like to see an ordinance set into place protecting our historical memorials, markers and momuments from any future attempts to remove them, and our residents support our city commissioners for the decision to keep our Confederate Memorial. We have formed a coalition backed by local leaders and other concerned citizens to protect our history. Our fight is just beginning. We can't let Rawls' group wear us down. Remain steadfast and viligent. There is more than a monument that is at stake.
