Hope Breakfast Bar and Cafe Astoria are important community members. They also have little to no patio seating, which will be the only way to serve guests in the near term. Without patio seating, these businesses will most likely have to close.

Leech St (between Grand Ave and West 7th St) is not an important thoroughfare and can be closed easily, allowing for these two businesses to stay open through this pandemic. Open businesses mean more jobs, more tax revenue, and a modicum of normalcy for this crazy time. 

Please close down this street and allow these small businesses to use it as patio seating. HELP SAVE OUR SMALL BUSINESSES!
