David Merryman of Hampton, VA has finally been sentenced. According to the Justice Department

David was sentenced to 17 years in prison in December of 2024!

I want to thank all of you who signed this petition! Those who I reached out to when this all started! Those supported this change & stood with the victims who may not have wanted to come forward or was afraid to. I want to thank the Daily Beast who interviewed myself for starting this petition and others who were directly affected

Justice has been served but we have more work to do with other landlords who take advantage of tenants.

 There needs to be accountability at the local and state level & have preventive measures, a complaint system & audit the landlords in every city & state!
