Our continued goal is to ensure David Merryman and other Slumlords & other businessman are no longer able to do business in the State of Virginia when such violations like this are present

In May 20, 2022 David Merryman was also arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service for failing to comply with federal court orders. According to the Department of Labor, Merryman Grounds Maintenance Inc. denied employees minimum wage and overtime. The U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia ordered Merryman Grounds Maintenance Inc and its owner and President David Merryman to pay $45, 846 in back wages and liquidated damages to employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

We appreciate the Justice system doing its job, however there is still more work to do. Stand with us and sign the petition to ensure David Merryman never do business again in the state of Virginia and the United States.
