PLEASE help give innocent dogs a voice. Please share and alert any news agencies or reporters you know that the city of Orange Cove is euthanizing dogs without posting any photos for people searching for their dogs or allowing owners time or opportunity to reclaim them.  They are euthanizing without the required 72 hour hold period. The city of Orange Cove is euthanizing every dog that comes into the shelter. Public works and the lowlife City council and mayor will not offer care for dogs over the weekends, so they are being killed without notice. The sole animal control officer is heartbroken and is tasked with taking dogs to be euthanized when ordered - at a moment’s notice. 

Please,  Mayor Lopez,  the City council and Orange Cove PD: Hire at least two trained animal control officers or kennel technicians to give adequate care for dogs every day of the week and make repairs and upgrades to the unhealthy, damp, freezing cold  (in winter) & boiling hot (in summer) poor excuse for a ‘shelter’. OR : CLOSE THIS HORRIFIC SHELTER- and contract to a rescue organization

Tell the mayor and city council  to fulfill their obligations to pet owners and animals of Orange cove that they took on when they ousted the  competent and caring non-profit that was running the shelter until December 2020.

If they cannot properly care for animals, the city of Orange cove should get out of the animal control business and spend the money on education of irresponsible pet owners and economical / mandatory spay and neuter services. 

And, for those of you surrendering your pets to this awful city for euthanasia- shame on you.
