I hearby petition to shut down Woodland Park. This petition is simple. Shut down Woodland Park and house all families effected within the housing authority. Cease Section 8 eligibility for Woodland Park. This neighborhood fosters drugs, prostitution, and deplorable living conditions. I petition to shut it down immediately due to consistent and constant murder taking place in this community. Our children are being murdered, our families are being torn apart and if we can't change the people in the community and their hearts we should shut it down to keep the violence from having a place to live. More murders have taken place at Woodland Park than any area of all of Evansville. It's time to retire this place and make it a park. The private owners of this place are cashing in on these people and aren't even doing their part to make this environment safe and secure and clean. Shut it down now.
