Mia The Super Pig, our Unofficial emotional support animal, NOT livestock!

We have had "Mia The Super Pig" for over a year now, she has became our unofficial emotional support animal and a house pet. her breed is a domestic Vietnamese Potbellied Pig, she is ONLY about 50-60 pounds and WON'T grow much bigger than that. Surrey by-law has decided that she cannot stay because of zoning issues and consider her livestock. The definition of livestock is: "Livestock are domesticated animals raised in an agricultural setting to produce labor and commodities such as meat, eggs, milk, fur, leather, and wool. The term is sometimes used to refer solely to those that are bred for consumption, while other times it refers only to farmed ruminants, such as cattle and goats". She DOES NOT fall under this definition. She has turned our life around and saved us for the good is so many ways. Our life revolves around her. Losing her would honestly do a lot more harm then good for Mia and for us. She will be taken away from everything she knows, she is our family. She is super smart. Knows more tricks then a dog such as: giving kisses, lay down, sit, come, twirl and smile pretty. She has her own room (sun room) with a bed and toys with strict bed times and mornings.. She is trained to go to the bathroom outside and not in her room or the house. We have even taught her not to bite and she loves kids and other animals. I do also have autism and consider her my child, she helps me emotionally and mentally every single day. We love her so much! They want us to move her or for us to move entirely and that is not possible right now due to my girlfriend losing her grandma within 2 weeks who has raised her since she was little. We are not asking for you to change the laws, we are asking for an exception to keep our baby girl. Please sign help us keep our baby at home and safe! UPDATE: sept 30th is deadline unless we move by then. Still want to try and change the law.
