It has been brought to our attention that members of rescues are not allowed to foster animals in Prairie Village. It has become a big concern for a major rescue who focuses on saving several precious lives every day. Without our fosters there holds very little hope for a chance at adoption and creates an increase in euthanasia. Fosters not only allow a warm safe place for animals but also love and compassion. Fosters help rehabilitate animals and put them through training to make adoption possible. In order for rescues to be successful, they need fosters. As of right now you are only allowed up to 3 animals and they all have to be registered by the city.
