We would like the Mayor of Springfield to request the resignation of Ward 8 Alderman, Kris Theilen, for posting the following comment on FaceBook: "This is the stupidity we are dealing with here. I almost wish we did have a gang here because about 25-30  kids would quietly disappear, and so would all this gun violence. Gangs don't want attention. They just want money and turf."  Suggesting the death  of Springfield teenagers would be a good thing for the community instead of wanting something better for them is disgusting and this type of mentality has no business on City Council. This type of talk and mentality will not  help fix problems in the city and will only create more problems, so he needs to be removed from city involvement!
