All thanks to Mayor Kim! Bucheon working towards becoming the "First Dog Meat Free City in Korea". 

Dear Mayor Kim Man-Soo of Bucheon, you have shown exemplary action by passing new animal protection laws in Bucheon.  In addition, you met with Nami Kim to discuss ways in which the city can bring about change, through education, as well as the physical action of closing down dog farms. 

You and Bucheon city representatives have also been supportive of Nami Kim and her team’s work by providing an official presence while various dog rescues took place. 

All of us around the world want you to know how much we support your inspiring work and how we are ‘of one voice’ behind you.  We are also looking forward to following the future progress of Bucheon, as the city works hard to bring an end to the dog/cat-meat trades in your City. 

Mayor Kim, we want to offer you our heartfelt thanks for all of your hard work; you are a true inspiration and a great credit to your country.  Please make Bucheon the “First Dog Meat Free City in South Korea”.

김만수 부천시장님께

시장님께서는 부천시를 위한 새로운 동물보호법을 통과시키심으로 좋은 본보기를 보여주셨습니다. 또한 김나미씨와 함께 부천시가 교육을 통해 변화를 가져올 수 있는 방법과 식용개 농장 폐업을 위한 물리적인 조치 방안에 대해 논의하셨습니다.

시장님과 부천시 담당자분들께서는 김나미씨와 팀원들이 개들을 구조하는 여러 자리에 공식적으로 자리해주심으로 그들의 활동을 지지해주셨습니다.

세계각국에 있는 저희들 모두는 부천시의 노고를 응원하고 있으며 부천시 바로 뒤에서 한 목소리를 내고 있음을 알아주셨으면 합니다. 앞으로도 계속 개식용 근절을 위해 열심히 일하는 부천시의 진전상황을 지켜보기를 기대하고 있습니다.
