The War memorials around our country are simply that.  They are there to honor the fallen.  This includes those that fell in the War Between The States.  There is no hatred nor malice in the dead nor the monuments that represent their sacrifice.  Hatred exists in the hearts of the living and the existence or nonexistence of memorials will not change that.  Sign this petition to protect the memorial of those who gave their lives from our county.
