On July 24, 2017, the Antipolo City Gov. started to implement the Antipolo Grand Terminal at Robinsons Antipolo. Implementation of this project will supposedly relocate the following terminals below:

UV EXPRESS / FX

• Antipolo - Crossing
• Antipolo - Cubao
• Antipolo - Ayala
• Antipolo - Robinsons Metro East / LRT
• Antipolo - Robinsons Galleria / Megamall
• Antipolo - Sta. Lucia

JEEP

• Antipolo - Crossing
• Antipolo - Cubao
• Antipolo - JRC
• Antipolo - Tanay
• Antipolo - Robinsons Metro East / LRT

Most of these terminals are located in Antipolo Bayan, near the Antipolo Cathedral (Simbahan) which is the center point of Antipolo. If the implementation pushes through, most of the Antipolo commuters will need to commute twice or thrice just to get to the Antipolo Grand Terminal. Also since the tricyles in Antipolo is not regulated properly, commuters will need to pay more than the regulated fare. Furthermore having the Antipolo Grand Terminal in the intersection of an already traffic congested road, increases the traffic jam in that area.

We, the citizens of Antipolo City, is reaching out to Antipolo Mayor Jun Ynares to stop the impending relocation of the current terminals in Antipolo Bayan. It is alright to set up a new terminal in Robinsons Antipolo, but to relocate most of the current terminals will greatly inconvenience the commuters.
