It's time that we gave Alberto Martinez, also known to the world as rapper Flawless Real Talk, the key to the City of Providence. Flawless Real Talk, a native of Providence, recently appeared on the first season of Netflix’s hip-hop competition show Rhythm and Flow. Although he did not win, Flawless Real Talk managed to capture the hearts of millions across the country with his passion, determination, and firebrand lyricism.

Those who have followed the Rhode Island hip-hop scene closely are well aware of Flawless' relentless grind over the years. Since the release of his earlier mixtapes, his move to Atlanta and winning their Hot 107.9's Birthday Bash competition, his Grind Mode and TeamBack Pack cypher appearances, going on tour with Tech N9ne - Flawless has never stopped believing in himself, or the city that he resides from.

If you have been lucky enough to witness Flawless' growth, then you know he has never forgotten where he came from. Flawless has placed Providence, the City of America's smallest state, on the map, and it's time that we recognized our own with a key to the City of Providence.
