Aaron, spokesperson for the Interfaith Coalition to Fight Homelessness, made these remarks on CBC's Metro Morning calling the Mayor's plan to 'shoehorn' 400 more people into existing overcrowded shelters really bad news. It is remarkable to note that frontline workers, people in the trenches, including the faith-based Out of the Cold programs are in sync with activists' recommendations to declare homelessness an emergency, to open the armouries, and 1,000 new real shelter beds.
