Say "No" to Zippi on 4 Corners!

Say "No" to Zippi on 4 Corners!
To make a strong case, we are focused on collecting signatures from *Brightwaters, NY Residents* only.
The "four corners" of Brightwaters is a staple in our community. It should be a place where families and our community gather to shop, eat, and enjoy time together. It should not be a place where commercial businesses, that have zero benefit to the residents, operate out of.
We, the residents of Brightwaters, are OPPOSED to the application for Zippi delivery to lease/rent the property at 348 N. Windsor Ave, Brightwaters, NY 11718. Our issue is not with Zippi Delivery operating out of Brightwaters, but rather, we are against Zippi Delivery operating out of a prominent section of our Village, that section being the "four corners". There are other real estate locations available in Brightwaters (e.g. the old Chase Bank) that Zippi Delivery can operate out of that would not negatively impact the charm of our Village. Below are several quotes from Brightwaters residents from our unofficial Brightwaters Facebook group:
"At this point, let’s just go back to being “Town of Islip.” Paying these Village taxes for what? A cup of cocoa at a tree lighting, and a Carvel flying saucer in August? The Village has lost so much of its charm. It really is the Land of No!"
"It seems really silly to me that it would just be some headquarters for a food delivery service. A coffee shop like Jack Jack's in Babylon village or Flux in Farmingdale would open up jobs for local teens and neighborhood college kids."
"This village should be the most amazing place to live, and from the outside, that’s how it appears, but the Village cares more about money than its residents."
Mayor Valdini and the Trustees:
Please listen to your residents and reject this application. Work with Zippi Delivery to lease/rent a less prominent location in our village and let's help the landlord at 348 N. Windsor get a more well-suited retail store in that location that the entire community can enjoy and be proud of.
