Stand together against bicycle theft in Toronto

Fittingly as we enter Bike Month in Ontario from May 28th to June 30th, 2018, the message of encouragement to get on our bikes and enjoy the cycling community is lost as we are not addressing the biggest issue of all - the rampant theft of bicycles in Toronto and a lack of support from the government and police to protect this cycling community.
There are issues of bikes being stolen from Toronto streets, private residential properties and targeted condo thefts. The industry of bike theft operations is massive in Toronto and represents hundreds of thousands of dollars. Citizens are fed up and are beginning to take matters into their own hands, which is dangerous. Many Torontonians feel that the police and city representatives are doing nothing to address this and to protect our cycling community. Let's come together to make change to high bicycle theft in the city!
