You are Invited to Toronto's February Homeless Memorial.

Hopefully today, at the Big City Mayors Caucus meeting in Ottawa, Mayor Tory will join other mayors to call for an immediate influx of funding for truly affordable housing that is rent-geared-to-income housing. Last week Ottawa City Council voted to declare homelessness and housing an emergency. Toronto has yet to make this call despite evidence that the shelters are full and the overflow system of respite sites, drop-ins and Out of the Cold program are also full and struggling to meet the UN Standard for Refugee Camps. Deaths continue. Please join us Tuesday, February 11 at 12 noon at the Toronto Homeless Memorial followed by lunch inside.
