Homelessness in Canada. It's come to this.

Toronto's homelessness situation remans the epicentre of the emergency in Canada. Shelters are full. Period. Across the country this is evident in the informal tent communities and outdoor squats erupting in Moncton, Kingston, Peterborough, Ottawa and Vancouver. In Toronto tents are not just in parks and ravines but now they are on our main streets. People are living in cars. The shame, the human rights shame of this is that people in these circumstances are also being evicted by local authorities.
It's come to this.
This week the failure of Toronto's municipal government to provide adequate shelter for homeless people became even more evident with the launch of a shelter bus, operated charitably by a faith group in a desperate attempt to provide warmth.
People around the world see this as a human rights issue. Thank you for signing the petition and please share and help it grow.
