A Blue Line has been proudly painted down the center of our Main Street in support and honor of the Woodbridge Township Police Department. The Blue Line has been painted each year for the last 5 or 6 years for Law Enforcement Week celebrated in May. "The blue line is representative of municipal support for the police department", said John Hagerty the spokesman for the township. 

In the wake of recent Black Lives Matter protests in the township, some have demanded the township remove the blue line calling it divisive and insensitive.  Nothing is farther from the truth.  Woodbridge Township is a diverse, inclusive town that welcomes ALL. Our police department is Nationally Accredited.  We CAN come together to support our men & women of law enforcement and ALL the residents of the township.
