The city of Erie has tons of litter/rubbish/trash and garbage strewn all over, from sidewalks to yards to alleys to fences, from streets to around poles, bridge underpasses and everywhere in between. Yet there is not a garbage can in sight except immediate downtown and parks. While many do not care, I believe putting them up, emptying them each week and talking about it often will encourage people to use them. Otherwise, no business in their right mind is going to even consider these areas, which is a large swath of Erie. Erie is dirty looking. I urge you to do this.
