Alexis Edwards was a 26 year old mother of 2. December 29, 2019 at 1:45pm she and her 3 year old son were shot on the Northwest Side of Indianapolis. She was in her own driveway. Her son luckily survived but Alexis unfortunately was not so lucky. It has been 6 months and the case is still open with no convictions rendered. No suspect arrests have been made. The people responsible for her death are going on living their lives and nothing has been done. Alexis and her children along with her mother all deserve justice, truth and closure.

We address this to Mayor Joe Hogsett, Ryan Mears, the Marion County Prosecutor, the Indianapolis Homicide Branch and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department because your offices have both the power and the responsibility to bring justice to Alexis Edwards. We ask that you dont let this case fall into the pattern of no action after a terrible tragedy. We are asking for a suspect arrests and convictions.

Her mother adds..... I will never stop fighting for you even if I have to fight alone. The people that are in positions to help just don’t care enough to help us get justice for you and your children. But I will fight for you until they have no choice but to bring all these monsters involved to justice. You will all pay for what you did to my daughter and grandson. Every last one of you. Wait for the day you will have to stand trial for what you did. I will be there and I will plead that all of you get the death penalty. Because you ambushed her. You all waited for her and shot her down like an animal, and for that you will have to pay.

Alexis left behind 2 very young boys whom miss their mommy very much.. Her mother hasn't had a chance to grieve as she is eagerly seeking Truth and Justice. Alexis was a dedicated mother, a loving daughter, friend, and cousin who is deeply missed. Her loved ones deserve to see Alexis's murderers and the women who set her up to be killed charged and punished for her murder. We ask that you do the right thing. Convicting those responsible will not bring her back, but, it will finally give them the closure they deserve and need to be able to move forward. Her loved ones need you. They are hurting.
