On Tuesday 4/26/2016, the Rules & Public Policy Committee (of the Indianapolis City Council) will meet at 5:30PM in Room 260 of the City County Building located at 200 E Washington St. The Rules and Public Policy Committee will discuss Proposal 145. Proposal 145 will allow IndyGo to place a referendum on the Fall ballot. The referendum will allow IndyGo to perpetually increase local income tax to subsidize construction of the Red Line. WE ARE OPPOSED TO PROPOSAL 145 because the referendum will create a media war between grass roots organizations such as CollegeAvenueIndy against well funded special interest groups who seek to profit from construction of the Red Line.
