People that live in town should be allowed to raise a few chickens. Some people participate in 4H while others simply like a few fresh eggs. Ban roosters if you must, but not hens. Hens in small numbers are not a nuisance to anyone and offer great benefits. We ask that you not ban chickens. Limit their numbers and monitor their living conditions but don't ban them.
