Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000

A 9003 describes solid waste management as a discipline associated with the control of generation, storage, collection, transfer and transport, processing, and disposal of solid wastes. The manner by which these activities are conducted shall be in accord with the best principles of public health, economics, engineering, conservation, aesthetics, other environmental considerations, and public attitudes. The Act provides for a comprehensive ecological solid waste management program by creating the necessary institutional mechanisms and incentives, appropriating funds, declaring certain acts prohibited, and providing penalties.

 

LET'S SOLVE IMPROPER WASTE DISPOSAL

Nowadays, our community is suffering in environmental problems like floods. One of the causes of this problem is the people who recklessly throwing their garbage. And they do not think of the possible consequences of their actions on the environment. Waste disposal activities causes environmental problems on the community.

Improper waste disposal is the disposal of wastes in a way that has negative results for the environment. Some activities of improper waste disposal are littering, waste that is dumped in to the ground and, not recycling items that should be recycled.

Our community are down to flood everytime when typhoon comes. It is very sad to know that many lives have been sacrificed. A large number of families have lost their shelters and their loved ones. Their wealth was ruined by storms, floods etc. There are many effects of improper waste disposal. One of this is a kind of disease because of untidy surroundings. We, people living in this community want to solve this issue for a better environment.
