Tell Mayor Jack Young to close Eastern Avenue to Save Little Italy's Businesses!

The Issue

On Wednesday, July 22nd, Mayor Jack Young announced that the city of Baltimore would be rescinding their reopening plan for bars and restaurants to open indoors at reduced capacity. While establishments in Fells point, Federal Hill, Canton, and so on have been able to open to patrons outdoors, restaurants in Little Italy did not have the same luxury due to limited space in our historic neighborhood.

Now that restaurants are mandated to close their doors for indoor dining for the second time, Little Italy's businesses are once again left as the most vulnerable. Osteria Da Amadeo just announced they would be closing after 10 years in business, making it the second Italian restaurant to close after Lew Gambino's

Please help us save historic Little Italy and demand Jack Young close Eastern Avenue to accommodate outdoor dining, just as he did in Fells Point.
