The Issue

We need to build a Healing garden on the Blakeburn Lagoon that honours the murdered women of the Pickton Farm in Port Coquitlam,Canada. Robert Pickton brutally murdered and admitted to killing 49 women. There has not been anything done in the city of Port Coquitlam to honour their lives and it is long overdue. I have been having such difficulty in this process and spent two years advocating for it. The future park of Blakeburn Lagoon (which is a couple of blocks from the farm and a beautiful spot for the garden) is underway and the council has not had the "PUBLIC CONSULTATION" that they promised for it last summer. We need an opportunity to have our voices heard and show the council that the community supports this!! Cityhall and City council know all the hard work we have put into this and have made it difficult every step of the way!!!. I need HELP or all my hard work will be lost in the awful world of bureaucracy and politics.
