Stop the LAPD Secret Files, Surveillance, Spying, and Infiltration Programs

The Issue

I am deeply concerned and reject the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) surveillance, spying, and infiltration programs such as the
Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) initiative enforced through Special Order (SO) 17 and the iWATCH – See Something, Say Something program.
The LAPD SAR program creates a culture of fear and suspicion, criminalizes innocent behavior, promotes racial profiling, invades privacy, is not
evidence based, and wastes resources.

--We Demand that LAPD Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) Program including SO 17 be Rescinded and iWATCH Terminated—
