Word has reached our community. Our local newspaper will be featuring our story, as well as our local radio station and many community advocates have reached out to me about this movement. This is HUGE! There has primarily been positive input from the community, with only a handful of those being opposed. Those who state they are against chickens in the community have stated why, and most times it’s some misconceptions that lead them to say no. By educating our community we can get this request for amendment done. We are hoping that tomorrow’s Planning Commission Meeting will provide opportunities for the public to speak out, have our voices heard, and get this ball rolling.
