Let Rescuers Save the Manada Street Cats of Harrisburg from Certain Death

Let Rescuers Save the Manada Street Cats of Harrisburg from Certain Death
The Issue
Harrisburg, Pa : A woman on Manada Street in Harrisburg has been hoarding cats in despicable conditions now for a number of years. She has been reported numerous times to the city of Harrisburg now under the questionable leadership of Mayor Eric Papenfuse. The woman has been arrested and thats where the saga begins. While a number of cats were found dead and some were suspected of having rabies( untrue per the tests) other were extremely sick with advanced stages of distemper, kittens with there eyes eaten by maggots and worse. But now the real story begins. The City is trying to cover up the fact that it ignored this situation. There are Cats as I type this trapped in that house with no food or water desperately needing medical attention. The police have been instructed by the city of Harrisburg to not allow anyone in or near the property to feed or trap these cats and get them the necessary medical attention they need. The city has contracted with the Humane Society of Harrisburg to trap some of the cats wandering around in the yard to make it look like they are doing something. As of this afternoon from across the street several different mothers with kittens were seen wandering through the yard; rescuers sadly could do nothing without the threat of police action. The trapping done by the city is being done poorly, with traps being checked only twice a day, the few cats that they have caught left to sit in the weather in a trap. Time is of the essence here and Mayor Eric Papenfuse needs to know that there are many people that are exrtemely disturbed that these cats have been left to die
