"Neighbor --

We’re working hard to bring supportive housing to the northwest San Fernando Valley. Why? We’ve got 583 people sleeping outside in the community and not one unit of housing for them.

That’s about to change with the Topanga Apartments, which will provide 63 homes—if it can overcome community opposition. 

Show your support for homes that end homelessness at an important community meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Together, we can protect the Topanga Apartments.  Opponents to this housing are the minority, but they’re organized. We know from past experience how important it is to show up to and speak out at these events. One plan for housing in Sherman Oaks was scrapped last year because the opposition unexpectedly organized high turnout to a single event like this one.
