Kyrie Irving left effectively jobless due to NYC Mayor’s mandate for COVID vaccine

Mr Irving is one of 309+ unvaccinated professional athletes and the ONLY ONE who isn’t allowed to continue his employment because of NYC vaccine-mandates.
ALL other unvaccinated non-NYC athletes ARE ALLOWED to perform their jobs in NYC and EVERY other sports arena, including Canada’s.

                                History

8/3/21 New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio enacted “Key to NYC” to require some specified NYC establishments to verify every person’s entry has proof of at least 1 COVID vaccination.

This mandate was put into effect 8/17/21.

In addition, NYC Mayor mandated that all NY team athletes provide proof of 1 dose of COVID vaccination, or be denied entry to perform their jobs at all NY sporting arenas.

This resulted in 10/12/21 announcement that unvaccinated Nets basketball player, Kyrie Irving was to be also barred from participating in all Nets away-games by Nets ownership & general manager (they refused his ability to be a part-time player) and they reportedly halted his $186 million contract-extension negotiations with him too.

Kyrie recently asserted on IG live-feed that he had been promised an exemption (assumption is that it is a religious exemption) but it was later reneged, only a few short days to these ongoing preseason games.
A few weeks later he was then informed he could not report to work at ANY games unless he were to get 1 COVID vaccine.

There are a known 4 other basketball players and upwards of 180 other athletes who are not being forced to be vaccinated to resume their employment, and under NY COVID mandate, they can (and one has) continue with their employment as professional athletes with their teams at BOTH of NY sports arenas.
*** These unvaccinated athletes just need only to take a COVID test to prove they are not +COVID and wear a mask when unable to maintain 6 foot distance, TO STAY EMPLOYED and play at EVERY sports arena, including Canada … unlike Mr Kyrie Irving who hasn’t been afforded the same options to continue his employment.

Beyond being in direct noncompliance to NY COVID mandate & their “Key to NYC” mandates, these other unvaccinated players are additionally not subjected to loss of employment, halting of contract negotiations, and possible loss of sponsors, as Mr Irving is.
Immediate impact to Kyrie is deduction of pay for his “inability” to report to work at Barclays arena - a definite loss of MILLIONS of dollars and possible loss of more monies (Mr Irving will lose $381,000 per home game that NYC won’t allow him to play)

CDC blatantly states, sadly enough, that all vaccinated persons DO spread COVID, same as unvaccinated persons, when they’ve contracted it - the COVID vaccine only purportedly ensures vaccinated persons to have lesser-effects of COVID (mRNA injections have never been FDA approved, despite 10 years of clinical trials, as longitudinal data of side-effects outweighed benefits, until COVID-19)

In other court-hearings, Federal Judge Hurd, on 10/12/21, issued a ruling that required requesting New York medical workers to be granted religious exemptions, and further stated that states denial of federal religious exemptions is unconstitutional.

Despite all this readily-available documented-knowledge, Mr Irving is now a sole professional basketball athlete left without a full-paycheck, is banned from going to work, to have suffered cessation of discussions on his contract-extension, and has financial future in the hands of those who disregard the Title IX right of religious exemptions and are stripping him of his 1st amendment rights.

As all attendees must provide proof of at least 1 COVID vaccine under NYC mandates, and all referees & other Barclays staff must be fully vaccinated per NBA rules, there is no reason a NY teams’ professional basketball player must be vaccinated “to protect others” - the proof lies in the fact that other teams unvaccinated players are allowed to play in NY’s sports arenas … just not Kyrie Irving.
