Dear San Mateo Ice Rink Supporter, The San Mateo Daily Journal today reported on an exciting development. San Mateo Mayor Joe Goethals, County Supervisor Dave Pine, and a host of other Peninsula elected officials are leading an effort to identify a location and funding mechanism for a new ice rink facility on the Peninsula. Discussions are still early, but we have been working closely with these leaders to pursue a long-term, state-of-the art rink on the Peninsula. Here's how you can help: 1) Please leave a comment at the bottom of the article on the Daily Journal site (not on the change.org site). Thank the officials for their efforts and tell them why you think it is important that we get additional ice on the Peninsula. 2) Please send an email to the elected officials leading this push, thanking them for their effort.
