Prohibit the public display and mass distribution of graphic images of dead fetuses in Charlottetown

Prohibit the public display and mass distribution of graphic images of dead fetuses in Charlottetown

The Issue

Prince Edward Island was recently the target of an aggressive anti-abortion campaign that consisted of exposing the public to a series of graphic images of dead fetuses and babies. This took place through the distribution of postcards in residential areas and through the display of large images in high traffic areas. This campaign deliberately targeted and traumatized children, and has caused spiritual, emotional, and psychological harm to Charlottetown's residents and visitors alike. Countless callers to the City Police were told that they couldn't stop the distribution and display of these violent images because no laws were being broken. We the undersigned ask that the City of Charlottetown change the law so as to prohibit the public distribution and display of graphic images of dead fetuses.
