In Cheboksary Russia May 2016, dozens of innocent homeless cats and kittens were found brutally clubbed to death. They were discovered by elderly ladies that would regularly feed them. The situation with homeless animals in Russia is terrible with barely any laws protecting animals resulting in their populations being controlled by very cruel killing methods. The lack of laws to punish cruelty results in these situations continuing to happen with perpetrators getting away with their cruel actions. There are only a small amount of volunteer groups trying to help as best they can but this is no where near enough for the amount of homeless animals that exist. Finally the government in Cheboksary has allowed a block of land to be used to build the first animal shelter in the city. This is the first positive step to helping homeless animals. We are hoping from this petition to find and punish severely the monsters that are responsible for this horrific killing of helpless animals.
