Hello, Dear Friends, members, and Supporters,
Black America met Donald Trump's victory with a mix of shock, anger, and a familiar sense of resignation. Many were dismayed by the election of a candidate whose controversial statements and policies often seemed at odds with Black communities’ aspirations and struggles. Despite being deeply qualified and representing a historic milestone, Trump’s opponent was unable to secure the win, stirring doubts about the role of race, gender, and longstanding biases in American politics. As the dust settles, many Black Americans are left questioning what this means for the nation's future and their place within it, while recommitting to fighting for equality and representation in a divided America.
