New Beginning Animal Rescue" (NBAR), a no-kill shelter, will be forced to close it doors due to lack of funds. The shelter has been scraping by with small donations and volunteers from its Bronx community. However due to higher rent and veterinary costs, NBAR is now on its last leg.

Not only has NBAR provided services for Bronx four-legged residents, but it has also opened it's doors to school groups and youths at risk.  These young Bronxites tour and volunteer at the shelter to bond and heal alongside with NBAR’s shelter dogs and cats.

New Beginning Animal Rescue is the ONLY animal shelter we have in the Bronx.  The city won't break ground for the promised animal shelter till 2021,  Therefore without New Beginning Animal Rescue, the community and their pets will be left with NO shelter.  Many of the shelter pets may be killed if they lose their home.

We ask our elected Officials to Save our only Animal Shelter in the Bronx
