Salon, barbershop owners provide booth rentals . Cosmetologist ,Barber, are all private contractors. We are operating a small business and are all licensed by the state. We follow state guidelines and pay both sales tax and general taxes. Yet we have been overlooked by the banks and federal government. Why is that? We also pay business rent, utilities as well as our own home rent and utilities. We are just as important as the next business . Why the small business segregation? We too are also trying to keep our business doors open for other cosmetologist  who are also independent contractors within our business who are also providing for their families . We are trying to keep a roof over our heads and feed our family while trying to live the "American Dream". We also need HELP!!!!!
