Commissioned in 1925, the Equestrian Statue of Teddy Roosevelt has served as a monument to oppression, genocide, and slavery for almost 100 years. Now is the time to say, enough is enough. 

Now is the time to say that memorials to oppression are unacceptable, that memorials to genocide are unacceptable, that memorials to slavery are unacceptable. 

Remove this statue from the American Museum of Natural History, and replace it with a statue that makes New Yorkers proud.
