NO MORE BRUTALITY NYC: Fire Vincent J. D'Andria and Craig Eldleman for Assualt
The Issue
On Friday May 29, 2020 hundreds of New Yorkers gathered near Barclay's center in Brooklyn, New York to protest the vile and unnecessary murder of George Floyd in broad daylight on May 25, 2020 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, amongst the many other lives lost within the past month to police brutality. The protest was bombarded with an equal army of officers armed waiting for protesters to arrive as law enforcement antagonized and brutalized to protesters into foul play.
We are calling to have both NYPD Commander Craig Eldelman and Vincent J. D'Andraia from the 73rd Precinct in Brooklyn removed from having any affiliation with the NYPD for assaulting a civilian protester and encouraging further violence on the black community.
Videos online surfacing since last night show D'Andraia using excessive force, shoving a female protester to the ground. Both agents are well known in Brownsville with an apparent history of brutality mishandling people of color.
