BCPSS Fight to Return To Virtual Learning

The Issue

Support Baltimore City Public Schools students and families in our fight to transition to virtual learning due to the severity of the pandemic. We have observed far too many positive covid cases within our schools, and it is time to transition to virtual learning for the safety of students as well as faculty. We demand that the Baltimore City Public Schools system must close in-person-learning effective immediately. This closure should remain in effect until at least 14 days after the scheduled return from winter break AND until we are no longer identified as being in the "high transmission" level by the CDC. This is pivotal in preventing family gathering and travel-related transmission to our students, staff, and teachers.
