We are overwhelmed and so touched by the amount of support for our park and our pooches, so thank you all for helping us to reach 1,000 signatures in under one week! You're amazing!

Today, we've written to the Mayor of Canada Bay Council, Angelo Tsirekas, and each of the Councillors to request that they come and visit the park next week and meet us to hear why we think it would be an ideal off-leash space.

We look forward to being able to come back to you all with some positive outcomes from this meeting.

In the meantime, please consider signing petitions for similar issues in some of our neighbouring Inner West Council areas, including Callan Park and Whites Creek Reserve. The Inner West community needs to stand as one when it comes to identifying and preserving off-leash opportunities for our beloved pooches.
